Structure

The Electoral Commission has nine members who are elected by Parliament. The President, Vice President and the Secretary are elected from among the members.

Activities

The Election Commission’s exclusive competence includes:

1. conducting elections specified by special regulations;
2. determination of model forms and election forms;
3. resolving doubts related to elections;
4. establishing detailed rules for conducting elections;
5. giving opinions on the provisions of the Ordinance.
